Real’s resignation “put on hold” too?

Board of Regents member of the Negros Oriental State University, Rep. Pryde Henry Teves announced that “the resignation of NORSU Pres. Dr. Don Vicente Real is now moot and academic because he was dismissed two days before the date of his resignation.”

Yet, despite his plea that he be given a “graceful exit through resignation from office,” the members of the Negros Oriental State University Board of Regents are not yet fully convinced nor inclined to grant Dr Real’s plea for “compassionate approval.”

Dr. Real submitted his resignation letter on January 23, 2015 which was addressed to Commission on Higher Education Chairperson Patricia Licuanan through BOR Chairman Minella Alarcon and members of the BOR.

A medical certificate which indicated that Real was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the Bais City Health Office was attached to the letter...

CRITICAL REPORTING

President Aquino should pin a medal on his tagalog speech writer who knows the sentiment of Filipinos, and who can put the right tone at the right moment even during crisis situation. His writer, whose writings PNoy read diligently , greatly assuaged the anger of the people on the obvious culprits of the second Maguindanao massacre, this time, victimizing

Bottomline, the Oplan Wolvering was intended to be a covert operation ala seals.. But they under estimated the MILF who were able to surround them,, and getting reinforcement would further expose the secret mission. While the mission got maybe $4M USD reward, it also cost 44 lives of soldiers. We SUGGEST: that the bounty of $5M USD should be given to the families of the Fallen 44 PNP commandos’ families. This, the hunt-organizers will oppose we sense.

Comes now the decommission of MILF high power firearms per agreement. We believe this is next to impossible. There may be FAs surrendered but we can be sure that an equal if not more number of guns will be kept by MILF muslim combatants because everybody knows, the gun is part of the life of every muslim soldier.

EDITORIAL

It would seem that peace in Mindanao will remain under the state of hibernation until the smoke is clear and responsibilities pinpointed because of the killings of 44 PNP commandos and 18 MIILF combatants. Both parties cannot just talk peace with animosities prevailing because it can just happen again.

We still believe that it started as a covert operation until it was bungled by whatever, and no reinforcement could be made because precisely nobody was supposed to know about it.

We believe government has the obligation to demand that those responsible tell the truth because unless done, this animosity from all sides can only escalate and could even yet topple the Aquino government and we are fed up with coups d’etal.
