Good samaritan in blood letting

Church volunteers along with three priests who are actively engaged in pro-poor programs encapsulated by the acronym H.E.A.L.T.H (Health Education Accountability Violence prevention Environmental protection Networking) are calling on likeminded individuals and groups to join them in a bloodletting drive at the Robinsons atrium on August 28, 2016 (Sunday) starting 10:00AM.

Former City Fiscal Ely Escorial said that the donated blood will be stored to be provided free to indigent patients in Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital under the Dugo Ko, Kinabuhi Mo (DKKM) program that has saved countless of lives and sustained by the generous support of selfless people faithful to God’s exhortation to “make our contribution to bring heaven on earth” by showing love and compassion to the least of our brethren.

HEAVEN program has been commended by no less than Bishop Julito B. Cortes of the Diocese of Dumaguete which has sustained the passion of Fr. Burton N. Villarmente, Fr. Jose Antonio B. Arnaiz and Fr. Matias D. Rendon Jr. to labor and inspire others to serve the poor.

For this particular event, several doctors and other medical practitioners will serve to ensure a successful blood letting activity. All interested persons 18-years-old above and physically fit along with organizations are enjoined to participate in this noble mission as a means to honor and glorify our God Almighty.
